  As I swam upward towards consciousness I sensed the dreanded vertical shadows on my face that could only mean, Jail. Listening to the sporadic conversation around me about everything imaginable, I singled out one kindly voice patiently expalining to someone else how to use the phone system and contact a local bondsman. I was not dissappointed...it was if the person had been waiting to hear from me. A friendly voice, politeness, professional, and most of all understanding of my immediate needs. Within an hour I was sitting in the alcove with only one more locked door between me and the outside. I got my belongings and walked outside into the heat. Looking around I saw a friendly face waving to me from a car waiting to take me to an office to complete some forms, sign and go.
